We are currently looking for a Finance Director for one of our customers, a world leader in innovative surfaces for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and Information Technology departments;
• Supervise costs, records, and reporting systems, ensuring they comply with generally accepted accounting principles;
• Ensure the accuracy of internal controls and coordinate all audit activities;
• Manage cash flow and financial forecasting, propose a reliable cash flow projection process, and optimize relationships with banking institutions;
• Oversee the budget and its implementation, monitor its progress, and track the current financial situation;
• Manage and monitor Romania's financial performance according to the investment plan established by the group;
• Oversee financial operations, month-end close (balance sheet), and P&L account in accordance with statutory legislation and group policy (German GAAP);
• Contribute to the preparation of restated year-end financial statements, economic and financial analysis, and represent the company before regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Quality management in the automotive industry;
• Tax legislation ( Romanian & German);
• Data analysis, reporting, and financial forecasting;
• Budget planning and contro.
