For the world's leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products we are looking for an exceptional Gourmet Sales Manager for Romania / Bulgaria. Barry Callebaut is the heart and engine of the cocoa and chocolate industry. Your profile:
  • Bachelor /Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience in Sales, preferably in a multinational FMCG company
  • Commercial skills (presenting, discussing, negotiating)
  • Knowledge of the chocolate / gourmet industry is a plus
  • Being open to and adapting quickly to new sales and marketing approaches
  • Fluent English and Romanian is a must
  • Knowledge of a Slavic languages is a plusOpen for frequent travelling
Your mission:
  • Promoting Barry Callebaut sales by visiting customers and presenting BC value proposition
  • Managing Distributors and other business partners in Romania / Bulgaria
  • Acquisition of new clients, distributors and re-structuring of the distribution channels in the country (by brand and sub-region). Enabling further development of our positioning in market (market intel, direct customer interaction…)
  • Preparation of a marketing strategy with the regional marketing team and executing the agreed action plan in the field
Description of Tasks:
  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers, such as confectioners, pastry shops, bakeries, restaurants and hotels while respecting a time management schedule. Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services. Respond to customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Managing distributors in how they supply, sell and promote Barry Callebaut portfolio and brands. Coordinating Trade Marketing and Technical activities between BC and customers / distributors. Develop Chef to Chef relationships and engage in Chef Associations to build brand awareness and usage opportunities.
  • Other regional and Group related office work, including admin tasks (Salesforce platform, weekly reporting, price list management etc.). Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
